China spying fears: TikTok ban grows with these US states

The popular short video app TikTok has been sanctioned by a couple of more US states, Wisconsin and North Carolina. This means around 22 states in the country do not allow state representatives to install the popular short video platform on their official devices. Fears over security of user data are the root cause of the ban.
